3rd Grade Party

3rd grade was able to kick back and relax a little at their 3rd grade party! Dancing, basketball, jump ropes... and ICE CREAM!!!

Games Day!

Finally, some fun in the sun!!! Thank you to the PTO for putting on such an amazing event!!! We had a BLAST!!! So many awesome activities!!!! 

Poetry SLAM!

8th grade students from Ms. Hannan's ELA class (from WAMS) came to work on poetry with our class! They taught us about all different kinds of poetry, they preformed poetry, and then we split into groups to create our own poetry! It was AWESOME!!! Mrs. Forney's friends were able to stand on chairs and present their poems to both classes as they completed them. GREAT JOB to all the children. Everyone did AMAZING!!! 

Talent Show!

Ciara made it into the talent show this year! She sang a duet to "Let it Go"! She was AMAZING!!! She even shared her crown at the end!!! 

3rd Grade Field Trip!

We took our field trip to Camp Susque! Even though it rained a little we had a BLAST! We got to do so much exploring!!! 

Visit to LVIS

All of the 3rd grade classes from Jackson got to go on a field trip to Lycoming Valley Intermediate School! 

We got a guided tour, met the principal and assistant principal, and got to ask a lot of questions! Our thirds graders are ready to be 4th graders!!! 

Carter's Baseball Game

Mrs. Forney was able to make it to Carter's baseball game! Wow, what a player!! 

He got a hit!!! He also....

... STOLE second!!!

3rd (extra long) compliment chain

We worked extra hard earning compliments for our extra long compliment chain. We were able to have a pizza party AND get an extra recess!!! Hard work pays off (and gets noticed)!!! 

Millionaire Magician Time

My Place in the World

Mrs. Forney's and Mrs. Brown's classes learned all about geography and where we are in the world. Check out our neat projects!!! 

A Peep Tree!

Look what Mya made Mrs. Forney for the holiday!! It's a peep tree with jellybean soil! It was totally delicious! Thanks, Mya! 

Play Ball!

Mrs. Forney was able to go to Newberry Little League to catch a few games! Ciara and Mya's softball team was playing Ashley's team on one field, while Zander's baseball team was playing on the other field! Great job, players!!!

Researchers

Mrs. Forney had 3 students who did an extra research assignment with Mrs. Bower. They worked for weeks collecting note facts on the state that they chose. Finally, each student got to present their state to our class! We LOVED it!!! 

Breagin gave us facts on Florida. 

Mya gave us facts on New Jersey. 

Carter gave us facts on Vermont. 

Well done, students!!! Well done! I am SOOOO proud of you!!! Your hard work showed! 

3rd Grade Bingo

As an incentive for working EXTREMELY hard on the PSSAs the 3rd graders were invited to play Bingo with Mr. Dougherty! We had so much fun!
