Top Hat Award Winners

Mr. Killian & Mrs. Becker made a surprise visit to honor and reward the students in our 3rd grade class who earned the Top Hat Award. These students earned all 3s and 4s in Citizenship & Work Habits on their report cards the first 9 weeks! Way to go!!! What an honor!!! 

Unfortunately Mya and Noah were absent and unable to get their photo taken shaking Mr. Killian's hand. 

Veterans Day Visitor

We had a special visitor today! A real veteran, Josh Kriger, came in to talk to our class today about Vererans Day. We were so honored! 

Josh (and his wife Laura) told us about the importance of thanking any veteran and how sometimes you might not even know someone is a veteran if they are not in uniform. Josh showed us his uniform. 

Josh spent time in Iraq fighting for our freedom. He shared his medals and memorablia. 

Josh allowed us to all take a look! So interesting!!! 

What a special treat to have such an amazing man to share information with us on the importance of Veterans Day! Josh even gave the whole class prizes! To all of the men and women who have served and continue to serve our beautiful country, we THANK YOU!!! Happy Veterans Day!!!

Millionaire Mash!

Our class was able to participate in the Millionaire Mash Assembly! It was our dance! Ms. Rodgers taught us all the right moves!!! We had so much fun!!! 

Our Completed Compliment Chain!

We earned a plethora of compliments over the weeks, completing our compliment chain!!! We try to always practice the 4 Be's. We earned a pizza party with Mrs. Forney today!!! 

Making Art Connections!

Mrs. Corson introduced Georgia O'Keeffe to our class in art this week. Some of our friends were inspired and got books out of the library!!

A little extra warm sunshine!

November 1st was an usually warm day! Mackenzie, Adelyn, Mya, Kaliey, and Ciara enjoyed the sunshine while swinging!

Harvest Festivities

We enjoyed dancing and celebrating during all of the harvest festivities today! Thank you for our treat, PTO! We loved our pretzels & apple cider!!!
